Simplicity

Pants: Unique Vintage , Boots: Charles David (similar), Earrings:(similar), Top: H&M Purse: Chanel, Scarf: Target, Sunglasses: Giant Vintage

As women we are conditioned from a very young age (pretty much as soon as we come out of the womb) that in order to be considered pretty and attractive to others we need to wear pink, sparkly heels, lots of glitter, diamonds, loads of makeup and any outfit that shows off our assets - whatever those maybe. We grow up to find out we were pretty much lied to all our lives and realize life isn't all about diamonds, princess crowns and pink poofy gowns. We have a brain and independent thoughts and we can dress how we want, in whatever makes us comfortable and more importantly, whatever makes us feel confident. For some, that maybe a crop top and cut off shorts - but for us - the winter season - with it's scarves and sweaters and holiday spirit - is our favorite season for fashion.

We love throwing on a pair of skinny jeans, with a big oversized cable knit turtle neck and scarf. It's what makes us feel confident...and let's face it...warm. The Charles David boots we paired with this outfit are basically our favorite year round essential - the classic pointy black pump - morphed into a winter necessity. The Chanel purse quickly transforms a casual outfit into a sophisticated one and let's people know that you mean business. It's one of the best investments you can make as a woman - it will last you a lifetime and you can pass it along to your daughter someday...you know...if you're into that kind of thing. Have fun with the cold weather, layer like you've never layered before and experiment with colors you wouldn't normally deem "winter" colors. You'll be surprised how much fun you have.
